The Journey
Share the story of how your business started. How did the idea come about? What goals did you set out to accomplish?
The idea for Glow by Daye was born out of a personal need and a passion for creating solutions for textured hair. As a Black woman and a new mom at the time, I was constantly balancing family, career, and life and managing my natural hair journey. I found that there were limited options for high-quality hair accessories designed specifically for textured hair. This gap in the market inspired me to create products that not only cater to the unique needs of textured hair but also celebrate its beauty.
I started with the goal of designing and making inclusive products easily accesible that would help people feel confident and beautiful in their healthy hair journey. As Glow by Daye evolved, our goal quickly grew further into empowering and educating others on their hair care journey.
What do you still want to accomplish?
I aim to drive further innovation in the hair care industry by introducing a new patented product that addresses our consumers’ needs more effectively. Our product pipeline is filled with exciting developments designed to alleviate the everyday challenges of managing textured hair.
